–Approving Section 106 Memorandum of Agreement Between the Federal Transportation Administration and the Minnesota Historic Preservation Office, for Which the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board is Identified as a Consulting Party, Related to Adverse Impacts on Historic Resources Within the Grand Rounds Historic District by the Bottineau Light Rail Transit Project
–Approving Donation Agreement Between the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and the Loppet Foundation Allowing the Loppet Foundation to Construct the Adventure and Welcome Center and Related Utilities at Theodore Wirth Regional Park According to the Schematic Design Approved by the Board of Commissioners on August 19, 2015 and Plans Prepared by HGA, Inc. And, Upon Satisfactory Completion of the Construction, Discharge of Any Liens Related to the Donation, and Receipt of a Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Golden Valley, Requiring the Loppet Foundation to Donate the Adventure and Welcome Center Building and Related Utilities to the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board
–Approving the Operating Agreement Between the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and the Loppet Foundation Allowing the Loppet Foundation to Provide Programs and Activities Related to Winter Recreation at Portions of Theodore Wirth Regional Park and Other Areas of the Minneapolis Park System and Summer Recreation at Portions of Theodore Wirth Regional Park

Also of interest and now available to the commissioners and the public are the monthly reports that Superintendent Miller has initiated for construction permits and for Planning Department projects. The availability of these reports is one of the important changes instituted by Superintendent Miller. They are normally in the agenda packet for the first regular meeting of the month.
