–Approving Change Order No. 1 with Rachel Contracting, Inc., Contract No. C-38995 for the Main Stem of Bassett Creek Restoration Project in Theodore Wirth Regional Park in the Amount of $85,614.50 for a New Contract Total of $956,109.50

–Awarding a Contract to Cardno, Inc. Using the State of Minnesota Cooperative Contract Release S-910(5): Native Plant Materials and Native Plant Community Restoration for The Theodore Wirth Regional Park Lessard Vegetation Enhancement 2015-2019 Project Up to $323,960.00

–Amending Professional Services Agreement #C-37064 with WSB & Associates, Inc. Related to the Restoration of the Bassett Creek Main Stem from Irving Avenue North to Golden Valley Road Within Theodore Wirth Regional Park and Bassett’s Creek Park in the Amount of $13,461.00 for a New Contract Total of $152,363.00

–Awarding a Construction Contract to Ebert, Inc. in the Amount of $303,300.00 for the Nokomis-Hiawatha Regional Park 54Th Street Play Area Improvements Project, Per O.P. No 8130, and Authorizing Administrative Use of a 10% Construction Contingency Up to $30,330.00 for Necessary Construction Change Orders that May Arise with the Contract

–Awarding a Construction Contract to Iyawe & Associates, in the Amount of $443,200.00 for Wading Pool Renovation at Van Cleve Park, Per O.P. No. 8124, Authorizing Administrative Use of a 7.5% Construction Contingency Up to $33,240.00 for Necessary Construction Changes that May Arise with the Project, Allocating $44,000 from 2014 Commissioner District #1 Contingency Funds and Transferring $27,995 from the Waite Park Pool Remaining Construction Contingency Towards This Project

–Authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with Studio Five Architects, Inc., to Provide Schematic Design, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration Services for the Phillips Community Center Aquatics Facility Project for a Fee Not to Exceed $476,400

Also of interest and now available to the commissioners and the public are the monthly reports that Superintendent Miller has initiated for construction permits and for Planning Department projects. The availability of these reports is one of the important changes instituted by Superintendent Miller. They are normally in the agenda packet for the first regular meeting of the month.
