PRESIDENT OBAMA VISITS MINNEAPOLIS AND MINNEAPOLIS PARKS

When President Obama visited Minneapolis last week, he visited Minnehaha Park on Thursday, June 26; and on the next day, Friday, June 27, he visited Lake Harriet. The public was invited to hear him speak at Lake Harriet and tickets were distributed to the public on a first-come, first-served basis prior to the event. Needless to say, it was a “sold-out” crowd.

On Thursday, when his motorcade arrived at Minnehaha Park, he was welcomed by the President of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, Liz Wielinski; and by MPRB Superintendent Jayne Miller. Here is the You Tube link to his speech at Lake Harriet.
