Here We Go Again!
At the April 7 Park Board meeting, the Park Board commissioners approved a timeline for the search for a real Park Board superintendent. (As we all know, the first superintendent search was prematurely aborted by the majority coalition, which circumvented the search process and voted in a non-candidate who was given the title of Interim Superintendent.)
So the Park Board is now spending more time, money and resources to do what should have been done the first time. The first step in this new process is the search for a search firm. This will begin on April 14 when a request for proposals (RFP) is sent out. The search for superintendent begins on July 21 with the final candidate being selected on November 3.
